Max Drexler is a New York based director/editor working in both documentary and fiction. His films take a personal, low-tech approach to storytelling, focusing on themes like escapism, shifting infrastructure, and fleeting relationships. His style is observational and minimal, often using natural light, handheld camera work, and non-professional actors to create an intimate, grounded tone. Max’s short films have screened at ICA London, BAM, and LSFF. He received a BFA in Film/Video from Pratt Institute.
